Japanese Black Tea

This rare black tea represents less than 5% of the word’s black tea cultivations. The majority of black tea comes from China, India, or Sri Lanka, but this tea comes from Japan. Significantly less tannin’s than Chinese black teas and the Benifuki cultivar is known to help fight against seasonal allergies.  Smooth, rich and malty on the pallet, this tea offers an elevated depth of flavor.
