Flat Clay Tea Pot

This low profile, flat and wide format "Hiragata" Kyusu is an ancient design from the 12th century Heian Period. The flat and wide shape allows the tea leaves to spread equally which allows for optimal umami extraction. This tea pot is best using high grade Japanese green teas such as our Organic Fukamushi Sencha.
