Fukamushi Sencha

Standard Sencha is steamed up to 30 seconds, however, we steamed this product up to 80 seconds hence the name “Fukamushi” which means extra steam. In general, Japanese teas are steamed, Chinese teas are fermented. The benefit of this product is significant more nutrient extraction, improved rich green color and a reduced bitterness that actually tastes sweet when you drink it as a cold brew.
